Product Manager - Multi-Channel Ordering

Best Buy is seeking customer-obsessed Product Managers. There are 3 openings within our Multi-Channel Ordering teams.
Order Sourcing Team is responsible for empowering the right customer promises through accurate region/offer set up and also meeting the promises by determining the most optimal location to fulfill customer orders for both Large and Small products while ensuring Best Buy continues to provide world-class fulfillment experiences.

Inventory Staging Team is a brand new team which delivers continuous improvements within the inventory movement space by ensuring transfer orders and purchase orders are created and maintained and released to the fulfilling location(s) to meet customers promise date. Additionally, the team handles scenarios where the inventory was not available and ensures the order gets "back on track".

Order Management Platform is responsible create and maintain platform assets that improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the set of 15+ Product Team engineers that interact with the platform. There are opportunities to automate, improve application maintainability, reliability, security, etc.

Customer Post Purchase Experience Team is responsible for supporting customers who have purchased with Best Buy by supplying them with the information they need to monitor their order's fulfillment and the capabilities to modify their order if necessary.

Product Managers at Best Buy lead and engage cross functional team members and partners for delivery, maintaining a focus on customer needs, while delivering against prioritized outcomes and advancing the product vision.

Our Product Managers have a proven track record of owing backlog or sprint management and crafting clear product outcomes. We are a community of data driven, self-starters, obsessed with our customers’ experience. We are comfortable with ambiguity and can manage multiple projects simultaneously and drive them to completion.

Key Responsibilities:
Participate in day to day product team activities, driving high quality customer experiences and exploring what is possible with evolving technology and data science concepts and tools
Effectively translate business strategies into product strategies, roadmaps, and product specifications to deliver against our core customer value propositions and our company strategic and financial goals
Help manage the creation and maintenance of user stories and business requirements for new features and enhancements leveraging multiple work streams.
Work within a matrix organization collaborating with business stakeholders, user experience (UX) teams, project managers, data scientists, and other relevant Product teams
Analyze and provide reporting metrics to leadership on product growth to help drive day-to-day decision making.

Minimum Requirements:
2+ years of relevant Product Management Experience
1+ year’ experience with indirect team leadership to include coaching, mentoring, work direction
Proven ability to analyze complex data sets and leverage that analysis to make data driven product decisions

Preferred Qualifications:
4+ years Product Management experience managing roadmaps, assessing value, developing cases, and prioritizing stories, epics and themes
1+ years’ experience managing direct reports
Proven ability to influence cross functional team(s) without formal authority
Proven ability to articulate clear and concise requirements for new products and new features
Track record of project execution; completing and shipping excellent products on time and on budget
Experience and strong understanding of the software development cycle, design research and A/B testing methods, and web analytics
Ability to understand basic and complex architectural diagrams and data flows
Proven ability to work under rapid development cycles with medium to large teams to achieve a common goal
Proven ability to prioritize new feature launches based on competitive analysis, industry trends, emerging technologies, and company vision
Experience with varied production methodologies such as forms of Agile development and/or Lean Development
Knowledge of user experience trends and digital consumer behaviors
