Advertising, Senior Account Executive - Remote Eligible

You will be a part of uncovering where and how we can accelerate growth by delivering a unique value proposition to brands and agencies alike.

The sales team evangelizes Best Buy’s advertising business portfolio of onsite and offsite digital media products to leading brands & media agencies. As a Sr. Account Executive,
you will be supporting a newly created team that’s goals are to unlock the full potential of brands through a unique blend of offerings and high-value audiences. You have a proven track record of sourcing and closing new client relationships, effectively communicating the value proposition of key offerings, delivering on sales goals, and communicating effectively with executive level clients and internal leaders. Must be able to travel 10-20% of the time.

Responsibilities include:
  • Supporting a startup culture that is focused on building new client relationships across emerging, non-endemic brands
  • Effectively communicate BBY MEDIA value proposition to inspire clients to pursue new product offerings
  • Strategically prospect new partnership opportunities, while managing ongoing client relationships and sales
  • Deliver and develop appropriate customer engagement and retention strategies
  • Understand client objectives and assist with addressing pain points
  • Inform clients of new product developments and updates
  • Work with clients to develop innovative new products that serve their individual needs
  • Assist in campaign financials and deliverables

Basic Qualifications:
  • 5+ years in a client relationship and/or sales role
  • 3+ years’ experience in media/advertising
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships across all levels, including executive management
  • Solution-selling experience is strongly preferred
  • Past experience working in digital media sales is preferred
  • Must be able to travel 10-20% of the time
