Manager, Affiliate & Influencer Marketing- Remote Eligible

Role Summary:
The Manager, Affiliate & Influencer Marketing will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies to support the growth and evolution of the Best Buy Affiliate Marketing Program. This role works with internal marketing teams to understand business and marketing goals and leads the creation and execution of Affiliate & Influencer engagement strategies. In addition, this role is responsible for building and maintaining a deep understanding of media success drivers and applying learnings to future campaigns. The manager will assist in the strategic and day-to-day management of Affiliate Marketing & Influencer activities, as well as budget management for areas of responsibility. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of working closely with internal business teams in a highly collaborative environment to ensure campaigns are aligned with enterprise drive times and business objectives.

Responsibilities:
  • Create and implement Affiliate & Influencer marketing strategies that align with Best Buy’s broader strategies
  • Curate, on-board, and build long-standing relationships with creators that are authentically connected to Best Buy’s purpose, beliefs, and priorities
  • Develop and execute campaigns, often geared towards micro influencers to drive awareness, engagement, conversion, and brand love
  • Negotiate incentive models (including commission rates) to engage influencers & external partners
  • Manage day-to-day influencer communications & platform operations
  • Report the effectiveness of campaigns to internal stakeholders and ensure the data connectivity to various internal systems & tools
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including ad business, other media vehicles, brand & category marketing, creative services, legal, procurement, public relations, and technology
Basic Qualifications:
  • 6+ years of progressive Marketing or related experience where at least 4 of these years have been in Social/Influencer Marketing, Affiliate Marketing, and/or general Digital Marketing
  • Strong quantitative and qualitative analysis skills to analyze performance and derive conclusions and actionable insights
  • Experience with third-party influencer SaaS platforms (e.g., CreatorIQ, Mavrck) and affiliate networks (e.g., Impact, CJ Affiliate)
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience managing affiliate & influencer marketing programs for a national, retail brand
  • Experience managing million-dollar budgets
