Role Summary:

The Associate Manager, Large Product Fulfillment Reporting will define and drive the data reporting and analytics process and roadmap for LPF. This person will develop exception based and alerting tools, reporting automation and root cause analysis. He/She will have the ability to link multiple data sources and use reporting and analytics tools to support operational strategy. The most successful candidate will be someone who has an entrepreneurial spirit, is forward-thinking, progressive, understands the retail world and has a past track record of significant accomplishments in the data space. This role will require candidates that are adept at understanding business strategy, and quickly creating a vision of support while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced evolving environment. Relationship building within a cross-functional organization and the ability to develop reporting and analytics are key attributes of a successful candidate.

Key Responsibilities

Reporting & Data Analytics:
  • Experience in rolling out a vision for what data architecture and data design will look like in the future addressing potential obstacles and create a roadmap to achieve milestones and annual goals.
  • Create dashboard to be reported to executives and field leaders to help translate data into a story and how it impacts decisions and results.
  • Ad-hoc data pulls, automated reporting for both field and corporate audiences and developing data strategies for team use.
  • Responsible for the creation and maintenance of the SOP regarding reporting requests.
  • Responsible for issue resolution, escalation and communications for systems and tools. Direct the deployment of resources to prioritized initiatives

Industry Knowledge and Best Practices:
  • Understand and can translate data analytics industry standards, best practices and present key findings and recommendations as well as how to improve performance.
  • Be a subject matter expert in data analytics to make recommendations to the business and respectfully challenge organizational norms.

  • Drive efficiencies by developing systematic and repeatable reporting using SQL, Excel and other tools while removing capacity challenges from our field and corporate partners.
  • Impact cost savings and efficiencies to the organization through guidance and data to influence future decisions.

  • Be a self-directed leader that is capable of creating a roadmap for continuous development in management, leadership and industry knowledge.

Basic Qualifications:
  • 4 or more years of related experience in data analysis, data modeling, data architecture & transformation or other similar business functions
  • 2 or more years of experience with managing small to mid-size projects including aspects timelines and communication to leadership

Preferred Qualifications:
  • B.A. degree
  • 4 or more years of data wrangling and transformation experience in Teradata, SQL Server, Oracle, Power Query, Big Query
  • 4 or more years of advanced Excel using complex equations, VBA, Power Query/Pivot
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI, IBM Cognos, Tableau, Qlikview
