As an Associate Digital Engineer II, you will play a key role in shaping the future of disruptive digital innovation in BestBuy Platform Engineering.

The initiatives in this area span across software delivery, build infrastructure, code management and intelligence, development frameworks, library patterns, code structure and quality, a continuous integration platform, and the evaluation, creation, and pioneering of productivity tools.

On a day to day basis, success would mean building relationships, understanding of BestBuy engineers and engineering tech, identifying key pain points and bottleneck areas to reduce friction our developers face in their work, and then writing software to solve those challenges.

Minimum Requirements:
  • 2 or more years of experience and an engineering degree or 3 years of equivalent experience
  • 1 or more years of experience with REST/web services
  • 1 or more years of experience with front-end framework (AngularJS, VueJS, React)

  • Java, ReactJS, Python, REST, JSON
  • Kubernetes Container Platforms
  • Cloud/Container native technologies
  • Experience working with Service Mesh concepts
