Job Summary:
Best Buy is seeking a motivated and skilled build engineer to help us augment our CICD team. In this role you will work with a highly skilled team in a fast paced environment. Best Buy offers the opportunity to grow professionally and contribute to a great company.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Continuous integration and continuous deployment of various mobile applications and develop end-to-end automation for Android, IOS, React Native, and Java projects
  • Develop automation to install, manage, and configure Jenkins, Nginx, Apache, MySQL, PHP, and other build components like Gradle and XCode on MacOS and Linux servers
  • Build IOS apps with XCode with Command line tools and Fastlane
  • Build Android apps with Android Studio and Gradle
  • Develop an automated, continuous, build process that reviews the source code, identify build errors and notifies appropriate parties to expedite/facilitate synchronization to the latest build
  • Improve productivity by designing and developing full-featured automated build systems
  • Implement tools and scripts that enable efficient, flexible builds using multiple scripting languages such as Shell, Perl, Python, Ruby, and Groovy
  • Develop Infrastructure as code (Ansible, Chef, Shell, and Ruby scripting), use software build tools (Gradle, Fastlane, Maven) and continuous integration tools (Jenkins, Bitbucket, etc.)
  • Create build jobs to implement automation testing for several projects
  • Work with Development, Infrastructure, and Testing teams in developing building/packaging/deployment processes for new projects
  • Work with various teams to automate manual release/build related activities with automation tests at each stage utilizing DevOps principles
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot build problems and communicate the issues to the project teams
  • Setup/Configuration/Administration of Binary Repositories like HockeyApp, App Center, Artifactory
  • Administration of Apple Development Portal, Test Flight, and Google Play store
Minimum Requirements:
  • 3+ years of work experience in IT or a closely related field with relevant expertise, or 2 additional years of the same experience without a bachelor's degree
  • Experience in CI/CD tools and DevOps automation with Configuration Management tools like Ansible, Chef, Ruby and Shell scripting
  • Proficient in implementing Infrastructure as a code
  • Proven ability to multi-tasking and mastery of troubleshooting quickly in a fast-paced environment
