Analyst, Portfolio Prioritization & Ops

Work directly with D&T capability teams to facilitate initiatives through the planning, prioritization, and mobilization processes. Responsibilities will include one or more of Roadmap visualization, portfolio status reporting updates, meeting facilitation, portfolio data updates, and end-user support. Functions as an individual contributor with added responsibility for providing indirect people leadership.

Capability #1: Roadmap Development - Roadmap Visualization
  • Leads building out reporting to show roadmap, capacity & portfolio views
Capability #2: Planning & Prioritization - Planning & Prioritization Preparation
  • Preparation of materials for planning and/or prioritization sessions
Capability #3: Mobilization & Initiation - Facilitator of Mobilization & Initiation Process
  • As new work/initiatives come through the process, ensuring data is complete
  • Manages and maintains status and system attributes to ensure work moves through the process most efficiently (escalating where needed)
  • Scheduling and coordination of meetings to capture data from requesting teams
  • Ensuring proper governance for each set of work going through the process.
  • Provide feedback to leadership regarding process effectiveness.
Capability #4: End-user Support - Front line end-user support specialist
  • Works with end-users supporting key processes owned by the team
  • Expert knowledge on the process for planning/prioritization/mobilization as well as exception options
  • Summarizes support feedback to ensure retrospective iteration of existing processes can improve outcomes.
Capability #5: Operations Support - Operations Support
  • Assist supporting framework used by Digital & Technology teams to manage investments, including data entry and basic setup.
  • Help to resolve issues with systems, which connect with multiple other systems (i.e Beeline, Oracle), escalating when appropriate
  • Help to support operating rhythms, metric gathering and reporting
  • Assistance to support PPM and process management tools to track and analyze project portfolio, financials, milestones, and status.
  • Acts as backup to perform system administration activities meeting SLAs
  • Makes recommendations for and supports ongoing improvements to the approach, frameworks, and tools used by the team
  • Identifies areas to address to improve efficiency and effectiveness of the team’s operations
  • Supports User Training and Support
  • Assists leaders in improving training/support capabilities based on real-world emerging needs
Basic Requirements
  • 1-2 years’ experience in IT, Finance, or Procurement functions
  • Knowledge, understanding, or exposure to online, e-Commerce, digital, IT, software or other technical areas/industries
  • Excellent communication skills; both orally and in writing. Ability to communicate to a wide spectrum of cross-functional team members.
  • Excel - advanced PowerPoint - basic; Word - intermediate; SharePoint - Advanced
  • A general understanding of Digital, Technology, Finance, and/or Procurement activities
  • Knowledge, understanding, or exposure to online, e-Commerce, digital, software or other technical areas/industries
