Marketing Director - Assignment: 18 - 24 months in China (based in Shanghai)

This position is directly responsible for helping develop and execute consumer marketing strategies for BBY China. As a result this position is responsible for helping develop brand and business team specific consumer insights using local market information to support actionable sales and profit driving business recommendations. This position plays a critical role in developing the Customer Brand Communication and Reputation strategy for BBY China. The individual in this role will be responsible for strategic leadership of the consumer insights, CRM and public relations teams in addition to helping hire, train and develop local marketing leaders for the country.

Basic Qualifications:

*High school diploma or equivalent

*15 or more years of progressive marketing experience

*10 or more years people or resource leadership and/or management experience

*Ability to work an 18 - 24 month assignment in China (based in Shanghai)

*3 or more years of marketing in China

*5 or more years of marketing on a major brand

Preferred Qualifications:

*Ability to speak Mandarin Chinese

*Retail experience

*International business experience

*Bachelors degree or higher

*5 or more years experience in digital marketing
