		<description><![CDATA[Digital Marketing, Sr Director<br/><br/>Job Number:<br/>10000000PX<br/><br/>Description<br/><br/>This role will develop social and mobile marketing strategies, value propositions, and assets to support and advance Best Buy's brand and marketing objectives. This work will be central to the development of New Business Models for Best Buy and this leader must have General Management experience in addition to marketing experience.  This also includes identifying key external partnerships, partnering with customer marketing and strategy, and directing of the necessary budgets to achieve our goals.<br/><br/>Role responsibilities include:<br/><br/>·            Identify key Digital Marketing industry leaders and benchmarks<br/><br/>·            Continuously scan the marketplace to understand key consumer and technology trends as it pertains to the usage and consumption of digital media,<br/><br/>·            Provide thought leadership into online, mobile and social components of Best Buy's overall marketing and communications strategy<br/><br/>·            Develop social and mobile marketing strategies, value propositions, and assets to support and advance Best Buy's brand and marketing objectives<br/><br/>·            Champion and lead strategy for digital marketing and customer engagement innovations<br/><br/>·            Supervise digital marketing team to ensure execution of social and mobile marketing plans;  work with key cross functional partners (legal, PR, customer care, etc.) to ensure social media activities comply with company core values, and mitigate legal, brand reputation, and customer risks<br/><br/>·            Develop and manage departmental budgets and investments;  measure performance and results to ensure digital investments<br/><br/>·            Design and fill key internal Digital Marketing roles<br/><br/>·            Develop and evolve the Company's point of view on role of network communities to new business models<br/><br/>·            Actively involved in/providing thought leadership on social, mobile and online marketing partnerships; Negotiate partnership arrangements with outside resources<br/><br/>·            Play active role in building overall Best Buy Marketing Capability<br/><br/>Basic Qualifications:<br/><br/>10 or more years of progressive Marketing or related experience<br/><br/>10 or more years of people or resource leadership and/or management experience<br/><br/>10 or more years Interactive Digital Experience<br/><br/>Preferred Qualifications:<br/><br/>Advanced degree<br/><br/>Retail Experience<br/><br/>National Brand Experience<br/><br/>Job: Marketing<br/><br/>Primary Location: United States-MN-Corporate Headquarters-Richfield<br/><br/>Organization: Best Buy US Corporate<br/><br/>Job Type: Regular/Full-Time<br/><br/>Job Posting: Aug 16, 2010]]></description>
