Best Buy has an exciting opportunity for a Senior IT Auditor to join our dynamic Internal Audit team. A desirable candidate would be a self-starter who enjoys and excels at managing people and responsibilities in a fast-pace, changing environment.

Key responsibilities include:

· Planning and executing audits to validate that controls are adequate and functioning effectively

· Documenting IT processes, controls, and exposures

· Working with IT Management to identify improvements to existing controls and/or operational practices

· Writing audit reports communicating audit observations and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences

· Participating on new systems development / implementation projects to ensure appropriate controls are incorporated

· Consulting with IT and user personnel on system control methodologies and techniques

· Providing technical assistance and training to other members of the Internal Audit team

Desired Skills and Experience:

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills

· Experience with business reporting languages such as SQL

· Experience with ERP systems such as Oracle EBS or SAP

· Experience auditing operating systems, database and application controls

· Exposure to SOX 404 IT compliance testing

· Familiarity with data analytics tools such as IDEA, ACL or Microsoft Access

· Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently

Basic Qualifications:

· 3+ years Audit experience (with at least 2 years in IT Audit)

· Bachelors Degree

Preferred Qualifications:

· 4 years IT Audit experience preferred

· CISA, CISSP, CPA, CIA

· Graduate Degree
