		<title>Tax Manager - International Systems Job (Corporate Headquarters-Richfield, MN, US)</title>
		<description><![CDATA[Tax Manager - International Systems<br/><br/>The Tax Manager - International Systems role will support Best Buy's strategic initiatives through Tax & Finance systems and process implementations.  This key tax role will drive business processes and systems to meet Best Buy's needs for future global growth.  The incumbent will be the key tax expert and liaison in the International systems implementations and will manage these systems implementations from a tax perspective while working closely with IS. <br/><br/>Responsibilities:  <br/><br/>1) Project Management: <br/><br/>a) Meet with business owners/business units to understand business requirements and translate that into tax requirements. <br/><br/>b) Work with various groups to implement, test tax requirements and to provide processes/procedures for system modifications/enhancements.  Continually monitor business changes and system changes, communicating impact to the various groups. <br/><br/>c) Train key business users on new systems and processes. Participate in change management activities that effectively allow the organization to transition to new processes and systems <br/><br/>d) Define and document current and future business and tax requirements for various areas of Tax; evaluate vendor demonstrations and softwares' functional ability to meet the organizational and regulatory needs. <br/><br/>e) Document, determine impact, prioritize and resolve issues that arise during the entire project. <br/><br/>f) Complete impact analysis to define benefits and costs associated with various elements of the project. <br/><br/>g) Define data elements, conversion requirements, and reporting needs for business processes impacted by projects. Seek out and provide business input and direction to data and conversion planning.  Define and document system configuration settings <br/><br/>h)  Assist with test plan creation. Create and execute system and user acceptance test cases.  Document issues, track and follow-up through resolution.  Provide work direction to business analysts involved in this effort.  <br/><br/>2) Tax Expert <br/><br/>a) Provide guidance to key tax department members related to financial analysis, tax research, compliance and reporting requirements.  <br/><br/>b) Manage relationships internal and external to tax and communicate between tax and the various IS organizations and local country personnel. <br/><br/>c) Gain system/functional expertise for selected solutions; partner with IS and business representatives to design and document systems and business processes to support the business and tax requirements of the enterprise. Provide work direction and guidance to business analysts involved in this effort.  Work with key business resources to ensure completeness of designs.     <br/><br/>Successful candidates will:  <br/><br/>Understand complex tax strategies <br/><br/>Have strong tax, accounting and finance background with experience working in all aspects of tax types, including compliance, audit and reporting.  <br/><br/>Strong communication skills <br/><br/>Work well in a team environment to facilitate working relationships among groups in the organization. <br/><br/>Be a strong project manager <br/><br/>International Travel Required:  50% - 60% <br/><br/> Basic Qualifications:    <br/><br/>Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting or tax  <br/><br/>6 or more years of experience in all areas of tax (income & indirect tax, including VAT), financial accounting or operational accounting experience with experience in system maintenance, business process design and user testing.
