Trucks full of merchandise enter the docks and other trucks are loaded up and on their way out. The product needs to make to the sales floor and into the hands of our customers. None of this happens without you. In reality, Best Buy Product Process is a precise and highly orchestrated science, and it takes scores of talented professionals to ensure the smooth movement and merchandising of countless products daily. You will create a customer experience that builds a lasting impression and ensures Best Buy continues to be a brand of choice. To ensure your success, you will be supported with an intensive orientation and ongoing training program to help you achieve great results. You will have the opportunity to develop your communication skills, detail orientation and build on your natural talents and strengths in a high-energy, value-based environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure products are seamlessly received from delivery trucks and are continually stocked, replenished, and merchandised on the sales floor
- Confirm the implementation of special projects are accurate and timely
- Monitor merchandise entering and leaving the store entrances/exits
- Provides carryout service and/or load merchandise in customer's vehicle
- Maintain and monitor store in-stocks
- Store Asset Protection / Loss Prevention
Basic Qualifications:
- 3 months of retail or related experience
- This isn't a desk job! Frequent heavy lifting/carrying up to 50 lbs, co-lifting/carrying up to 100lbs, & pushing/pulling up to 200lbs is required
- Standing and moving up to 100% of the time
- At least 18 years of age
