Delivering growth via innovation is a critical aspect of Best Buy’s roadmap, including specifically the arena of Services. This position plays the role of managing new value propositions related to services, including products, offers, and promotions with the primary focus on serving more Geek Squad clients and building on-going relationships with these clients. Importantly, this leader will be responsible for rapidly growing new service products to achieve the aggressive financial goals of the services group. This leader will also build a process for continuous improvement in the services products leveraging principled consumer research, financial analytics, operational due diligence, competitive insights, and retail engagement. Success, among many criteria, will depend upon significant collaboration, particularly with the Business groups, marketing team, retail teams and the broader services group.

Critical Functions:

- Manage various service businesses from end to end including pricing, marketing, and the customer experience associated with the business.

- Partners closely with the Business group teams, as well as Marketing, Finance, Retail and Service Operations resources to achieve business goals.

- Is responsible for managing service businesses that have been properly vetted through the pipeline process after the assumptions have been validated.

- Collaborates closely with the Services Product Development team to drive new ideas through the Services pipeline process.

- Create rhythms and infrastructure to drive continuous improvement of the services portfolio.


Basic Qualifications:

-
5+ years – Product Management, Marketing Strategy, Merchant, or other related cross-functional experience

5+ years – People and resource leadership

5+ years – Strong understanding and leverage of principled research approaches and methodologies

3+ years - Strategy development experience, including crafting business plans, managing strategic planning processes, understanding key financial and operational value drivers, designing and implementing transformational process improvement.

- Skilled at translating business insights into actionable strategies.
