Product Test Specialist - Connected/Networking/IT products Job
Location: Minneapolis/St. Paul Metro Area, MN, US
The Product Test Specialist is responsible for the detailed product evaluation, performance measurements, usability, and compatibility testing of Best Buy's Connected/Networking/IT Exclusive Brands products. Responsible for the creation of detailed product test plans and product test reports. Responsible for reviewing test results from our suppliers and third party and providing direct feedback utilizing our closed loop corrective action process. This position will also be responsible for performing audits on both samples and test reports verifying the supplier is following our test process. This position will also assist engineers in product specification development and in troubleshooting issues found during product qualification.

Evaluate product samples and document test results
Test/Test Plan creation
Training of Product Testers
Assist engineers in product specification development

Required Qualifications:
Associates Degree OR Bachelors Degree
Experience with wireless, wired networking, and 3G networking (to include clients, routers, and switches)
Experience with Consumer Electronics products such as DVD/Blu-ray and TV's
4 or more years of product evaluation experience
4 or more years of testing process design experience
5 or more years of detailed knowledge of features, functions, and technologies of one or more of the product categories marketed by Best Buy
2 or more years of project management experience
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Linux operating systems
