Musical Instruments Supervisor Job

As a Musical Instruments (MI) Supervisor, you will have the opportunity to lead a team of sales associates, with a common passion for music, in order to develop customer relationships and provide the products and services necessary to meet the customer's unique lifestyle needs -- from pros to aspiring guitar heroes. To ensure your success, you will be supported with an intensive orientation and ongoing training program to help you achieve great results. You will have the opportunity to develop your communication skills, detail orientation and build on your natural talents and strengths in a high-energy, value-based environment.

Successful candidates in this position will:

Basic Qualifications:
- 1 year Supervisory/Management experience
- 1 year direct experience building/retaining consumer relationships
- 1 year of hands-on knowledge/playing experience in at least one of the following categories: Guitar, Keyboards, Drums, Pro-Audio equipment, DJ, Drums, Recording technology
- At least 18 years of age
- High School Diploma or Equivalent

Preferred Qualifications:
- 1 year experience in Musical Instruments Retail (Guitar Center, Sam Ash, local, etc)
- Supervisory experience in Musical Instruments Retail
- Experience building and sustaining customer relationships
- Ability to play and teach multiple categories. i.e., guitar, drums keyboard and recording technology such as computers and instrument software
- Detail oriented and have ability to supervise lessons, repair service, and scheduling
