Equal Employment Opportunity
Best Buy is committed to a policy of Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) and maintains an Affirmative Action program. Best Buy will not discriminate on the basis of age, sex, race, color, creed, religion, ethnicity, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, national origin, alienage or citizenship, disability, marital status, military or veteran status, or any other legally recognized protected basis under federal, state, or local laws, regulations or ordinances. Our management is dedicated to ensuring the fulfillment of this policy. When necessary, we will reasonably accommodate employees and applicants with disabilities and with religious requirements necessitating accommodation.
Need an accommodation to complete the application?
Should you have a need, Best Buy will provide a reasonable accommodation to complete the applications upon request. Please contact the Manager or Hiring Coordinator at the location you are interested in applying. They will be able to provide you with instructions on how to apply. This process is for individuals with physical or cognitive disabilities that would limit their ability to complete Best Buy's on-line application.
Notice for Utah applicants/residents
Pursuant to the Utah Employment Selection Procedures Act, all records, including employment applications and related documents, are the property of Best Buy. Information contained in the employment application records received by Best Buy will be used only to determine whether or not to hire the applicant. Unless otherwise required by law, Best Buy will retain employment application records for a period up to two years from the time such employment application information is submitted to Best Buy unless the applicant is hired by Best Buy. After this two-year period, on those applicants that were not hired, Best Buy will dispose of the employment application records on such applicants in a manner intended to assure complete destruction of these employment application records and to protect against unauthorized disclosure during disposal. Best Buy will also take commercially reasonable measures intended to maintain the confidentiality of employment application records and to prevent unauthorized disclosure.
